Building on the success of the last four years' Summer Schools, the course is aimed at enthusiastic singers of all ages and abilities. You are likely to be singing as a member of a choir and will not be too abashed at singing in front of a small group of like-minded and supportive people. We are not going to try to turn you into an international opera star but we will aim to help you understand more about how your voice works and how you can make the most of your vocal ability. We are determined to make the week enjoyable as well as instructive. Each member of the course will have an hour's one-to-one teaching or coaching per day. There will be opportunities to hear others sing and the tutors are planning a variety of concerts during the week. On the Friday we hope that each participant will feel able to offer a contribution to a final concert either alone or with others. During the afternoons you will be free to explore the riches of the Dordogne or relax by the pool. |
